RED were appointed by Roper Rhodes as Real Estate Director to advise on the business’ relocation.

RED first analysed the company’s requirements and advised on a relocation solution. We considered the efficiencies which Roper Rhodes could benefit from being under a single roof rather than the 5 existing properties which currently housed the business.

Consideration was then given to the development of a brand new high bay facility versus the acquisition of an existing building. The decision was made when the former DS Smith building at Portbury was identified. At 195,000 sq ft the building afforded Roper Rhodes the ability to bring all parts of the business together and provided them with space for future growth.

As Real Estate Director, RED then coordinated the design team for a £2m refurbishment program on the building.
